Paag Encourages Blue Mountains Residents To Take Advantage of Pre-Poll Print E-mail

Michael Paag, Liberal Candidate for Blue Mountains called on Blue Mountains residents who are unable to vote on Election Day to take advantage of Pre-Poll.

“I encourage all voters who are unable to get to a Polling Booth on Election Day to exercise their democratic right and vote at one of the two Pre-Poll Booths in the Blue Mountains,” said Mr Paag.

“The current State Labor Government has cut services and neglected local infrastructure.  Local businesses are suffering because of high state taxes, too much red tape and lack of funding for Blue Mountains tourism.

“Crime rates are rising and we are losing local jobs.

“And Newnes Plateau remains unprotected from sand mining.

“I am a local who has been fighting for local issues.

“I was endorsed by local branches of the Liberal Party not parachuted in by Head Office.

“My Labor opponent does not hide his desire for a ‘substantial role’ in government.

“Representing the interests of local residents as Member for the Blue Mountains is not ‘substantial’ enough for Mr Koperberg.

“He wants to get elected so he can fulfil his ministerial ambitions.

“This election offers a clear choice, either continue with the neglect of Labor or elect a local who will fight for better services, improved infrastructure, protection of our environment, creation of local jobs and greater opportunities for young people,” concluded Mr Paag.
